You just gotta love that face!

Benjamin and I have decided to try to update the blog every Wednesday.   That is now in print so now you may hold me accountable ;)  Benjamin said it is fine with him as kong as I keep it short and don't say anything embarrassing about him (don't worry, he can't read too well yet!)
Cute Jadonisms:
He is in a phase that when he leaves somewhere he must say goodbye to everything, you know cups, spoons, grass etc.  Well leaving the grocery store this week he said "Bye lights, bye water, bye pen that writes on my hand."  While I had been paying for the food he had been writing on his hand with the pen on the cord you use when you write checks.  Very funny.
He says No Please.  (Does that mean yes or no?)
Jadon loves to cook.  He runs to his stool saying "I helper, I helper."  Today we made a berry cobbler, I had to think of something for him to cook and we had a bag of frozen berries.  He says "2 cups, 2 cups" he would like 2 cups of flour.
His new phrase is "I workin, I workin." usually quoted while doing something that isn't a good idea to do, but should be allowed to because "he's workin"

Ben and his best buddy!

He Loves this thing!

Father's Day 09

"The headlock Pose,"  always a favorite.
Jadon giving Ben a kiss.
Jadon showing Daddy where Baby Ben is.  He really loves his brother!
Daddy's gift from us, to hang in his office!

Wow, whose that handsome guy... movie star, opera singer, ostrich tamer??

NO!  It's JADON! When we paint Jadon likes to paint himself, of course.  So this day Jadon drew a smudge across his upper lip that looked like a mustache and I thought hey, if you can't beat them ...

So, the cat's out of the bag...

So, for this post you can refer to my previous post "That's all I have to say about that."  In an attempt to 1. shock the blog world  2. see if anyone was actually reading my blog and 3. see if I could get any comments, I posted the strange, yet strangely not as strange as one might think picture of David.  Inferring that David had indeed hit some sort of pre-mid life crisis, shaved off  his goatee only leaving a mustache and  plans were underway to start a harly davidson sky jumping group.   My original plan was to post this picture sooner revealing that David had not in fact jumped off the deep end (or airplane for that matter), but rather we hosted a formal for our student featuring a 1920s theme and David had sacrificially  shaved the beloved facial hair for the Mystery Dinner Play that the leaders preformed that night for the kids.
Please note, I did receive 3 comments after the alleged picture.  And don't worry David would never wear leather.

Our Vacation to Mount Hermon in Santa Cruz

Mount Hermon is beautiful. The entire place is landscaped amazingly. Beautiful Ben... I am trying to take a picture of Ben in the front pack, while wearing the front pack. Fairly unsucessfully :) What would you say if I told you these were the best ones... hmmm. Mount Hermon also has a nice park that we went to at least once a day. Going...Going...GONE.
PILLOW FIGHT:
Now tell me what is more fun than a pillow fight, especially if you are a boy, and especially if you are 2. But mostly because you are a boy.
A pillow fight with thirty, yes 30, or more Pillows!
Benjamin's first time at the beach!!! It was pretty cold and windy!
Isn't the beach here just beautiful. David cycled by this beach eariler in the week and took us all here. We pretty much were the only ones there.

Sleeping Beauties

Don't worry, I didn't leave them like this... I sure Benjamin wouldn't have survived... but it made a cute picture!

When life... I mean Grandma, gives you lemons

But whatever you do don't google a recipe for Myer Lemonade and find an interesting one for vanilla myer lemonade and decide to try it out... bad choice.
