Jadon at the Park

Hey, what are you guys doing back there! I have to keep my eye on you! Jadon enjoyed the park, sorta. He really enjoyed watching the big kids play at the park. And, we were able to get him to swing for a little while. Daddy took him down the big slide and Jadon didn't think it was all that great. Daddy is really looking forward to when Jadon is able to play just a little bit... more!

Cousin Fun!

They both wanted to be in David's lap! Well at least Kendra could express that she wanted to. It was so cute off and on through out our time together, Kendra would come up to David and lift her arms, for him to pick her up and hold her! We are kind of little, so we like to hold eachothers feet, it's fun. Cute Kendra I know if I push hard enough, this will all fit.
We had a great time visiting with Andrew, Susan, and Kendra. And, are so glad they were able to come visit.

Jadon's favorite pastime

Of all the toys, of all the books, of all the things this child can do, his favorite thing is a cup with water. We will never have to worry about Jadon getting dehydrated! We have to limit his drinking or he will seriously drink too much. And now he has gotten where he can hold his own cup up.

Monkey Photo Shoot

No, of course I couldn't just let him be! I had to get some really good pictures of him. He's just to adorable not too and he was tired at night during the Harvest Party! So I made him get dressed up again and go outside and pose for me! He is a good sport, though! Even notice the little bananna coming out of his pocket! The Harvest Party theme was "Lost in Space", kind of a difficult theme to dress like. But, we figured hey they take monkeys to space right?!!

Don't try this at home... Really, don't try this at home!

Well Jadon had a good time at his first Harvest Party. Our church hosts a Harvest Party every year for the church and community. There are bounce houses, games, ponies, candy... lots of fun stuff. Jadon thought it was all pretty interesting!

Food... Finally!

Well this is a huge improvement. At our 6 month appointment Jadon's doctor gave the go ahead for starting solid foods, unfortunately at this time Jadon decided that he abhorred (no exaggeration!) food, all food. I tried oatmeal cereal, bananas, applesauce, peaches, peas, carrots, mashed potatoes. Every time I would offer him a bite of anything he would look at me as if I was trying to poison him, then refuse, turn his head, close him mouth and would not let anything near. And apparently I developed a similar problem as a baby and my grandma gave me cornstarch pudding and I started eating again. Well grandma made cornstarch pudding for Jadon and low and behold he gobbled it down! And now he LOVES food, all food. And, is willing to try anything!

Our Little Pumkin

It's our little pumkin's first experience getting to see a pumkin. It's so nice we're able to walk down the street to this brand new Raley's they've put in around the corner from our house. Last night we all went out on a walk to pick up a couple of pumpkins. And Jadon seems to love them.
(Stay tuned: pumkin carving photos coming to a blogspot near you)

Cowboy Jadon

Here's a picture of Jadon at this year's annual Chili Cook-off. Everyone is supposed to come in western wear. We were going for the "cowboy look" but the hat gave us more of a railroad look! That's western, right! But oh how handsome!!!

I love to help my mamma

Jadon is such a good boy (most of the time!) while mamma cleans the house. He likes to play with his toys in the high chair while mamma pulls him around the house as she cleans. He likes it even better when he only has to wear his diaper!
